Projects

We undertake the smallest of jobs, as shown in this picture. New lead flashings were carried out ont wo sides, finishing this porch off.

Re-building of a chimney stack also undertaken when necessary. As always, we take pride in the end result.

After the old, perished chipboard has been removed down to the ceiling joists, new 19mm waterproof, treated plywood can be layed with staggered joints. This would isolate the movement, thus giving the new felt system a longer life span.

After the felt system has been layed to your requirements, 12mm granite chippings are stuck down with a bitumous compound to reduce any water laying on the roof and to reduce thermal movement. If this is not carried out it can cause problems with the felt being exposed directly to the sun. This is a detail that should not be overlooked.
